I was born & raised in Očhéthi Šakówiŋ, the ancestral and unceded land of the Dakota people, in what is called Minneapolis, Minnesota. I live in xučyun (Huichin), the ancestral and unceded land of the Chochenyo speaking Ohlone people, in what is called Oakland, California.
I work in solidarity with movements for liberation by drawing from a background rooted in farm-scale regenerative agriculture, hands-on education, and music. As an active anti-racist and proponent of racial, economic and social equity, I support BIPOC-leaders and organizations through direct reparations, divestment, and wealth-redistribution.
